Career
She spent three years learning how to play bass in Farabi Music School, Jakarta, and plays bass in the jazz band "Starlite". Her formal education was in Atma Jaya University, Jakarta, with the subject Accounting. Sheila could play the bass guitar and double bass as well.
Her experience in performing consisted of playing regularly in Jasmine Lounge Hotel Athlete Century, Louisiana Fontaine Brawijaya, Paprika Resto and Lounge, Sogo – Pondok Indah Mall, Restaurant Row – Pondok Indah Mall, Avorio Plaza Senayan, Borobudur Hotel, Ritz Carlton Hotel, Pisa Cafe, and at Paulaner Brauhaus – Kempinsky.
She also played in Jazz Goes To Campus 2004-2005-2009, Jazz Foreign Aceh 2004 & Jazz Foreign Jogja 2005, Dutch embassy event at Erasmus Huis Kuningan, Mexican embassy event, A Mild event with Clorophyl Band, Jak television event at Bros Lounge Kemang, Trijaya event at 9 Clouds Club, Jak Jazz Festival 2006, Jazz Tiga Generasi – Pondok Indah Mall, Bimasena Jazz – Jakarta Jazz Society, Jajan Jazz events, Komunitas Jazz Kemayoran events, International Java Jazz Festival 2005 with Starlite Band, 2006 with Starlite Band, 2007 with Starlite Band, and 2008 with Starlite Band and also Tiwi Shakuhachi, collaborating with Tinneke Postma, Dutch saxophonist, and at the World Youth Jazz Fest in May 2014. Sheila also plays as home band at several television stations such as Om Farhan (AnTV), Ruming (TV7), Mario Teguh Golden Way (Metro television), Missing Lyrics (Transport television), Online (Trans7), Selamat Pagi Nusantara (TVRI), Galau Nite (Metro television), 811 Show (Metro television).
She plays at wedding parties, exhibitions, and product launchings. She was also the line-up bass player for Gita Gutawa, Dewi Sandra, Vidi Aldiano, Mike Mohede and Denada.
She currently works as the Managing Director for Bebop Entertainment.
