Sheila Rann received degree from New York University in 1977.

Career

Mrs. Rann danced with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY; danced on the Jackie Gleason Show and the Ed Sullivan Show, and modeled for the Ford and Wilhelmina modeling agencies. She was a performer on and off- Broadway, appearing in stage shows such as No No Nanette, West Side Story, and Rhinoceros.

Sheila Rann appeared in television soap operas including As the World Turns, All My Children, and General Hospital. She also worked as a fitness instructor during the 1980s, pioneering on-site office exercise classes. Since 1984 she became a freelance writer. She worked on Wall Street in New York, NY, as a sales executive for ADP and Zachs Investment Research during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Achievements

• In the 1980s, Sheila Rann began her own business teaching exercise and fitness. She was among the first to introduce the concept of in-office exercise, and taught classes at many New York corporations.
  
  Later she became a distinguished author of several books, best known is her novel Anything for Love.
