Professor history Kuangsi (China) University, 1951-1953, Hunan (China) University, 1953-1956, East China Normal University, Shanghai, 1957-1989. Advisor Chinese Association Medieval History, Beijing, since 1976, Shanghai Association Social Science, since 1983.
