Career
Spitse made her senior international debut in August 2006. A 4–0 World Cup qualifying defeat against England. She was still playing in a boy"s team with VV Sneek.
In June 2013 national team coach Roger Reijners selected Spitse in the Netherlands squad for Union of European Football Associations Women"s Euro 2013 in Sweden.
In 2013 was announced that she would transfer to LSK Kvinner FK in Norway. Foreign this transfer money was paid, for the first time in Dutch women"s soccer.
She was also voted on to Norway"s Team of the Year at the annual NISO awards ceremony in Oslo. International goals
