Graduated from English Law Department of Tokyo University (1930).
Career
In 1930 entered Railway Ministry and became vice-manager of Tokyo Railway Bureau. After successive promotions was appointed director of Osaka Rikuun-kyoku (Land Transportation Bureau) of Railway Ministry (1949). Entered Odawara Kyuko Electric Railway Company (1952) and became director (since 1952) and chief of Transportation Department (since 1953) of the company.
