Graduated from the Military Academy (1912) and was comissioned transport and lieutenant. Graduated from Military College (1922).
He became chief of Secret Military Service at Hankow (1939), and also served as military adviser to the government of Wang Ching-Wei. Appointed commandant of the Military Transport Service School (1941). Promoted to Lieutenant General and became Divisional Commander in China. Became Vice-Minister of the Army (1944), from which he resigned due to ill health prior to the end of the war (1945).
