Became journalist of Jiji Shimpo newspaper after the war. Served as central executive member of the Socialist Party and became chief of the Political Department of Kyushu Association of the Federation of Labor.
Was elected to the Diet five times and served as chief of Educational Department of the Right-Wing Socialist Party.
Was president of Nishi-Tozaki Coal Company and also serves as instructor at Keio University.
