Career
After graduating from university set up a private law firm and became legal adviser to National Farmers Party. Later joined the farmers and people's movement as a Central Executive Committee member of Japan Farmers Party. Was Secretary-General of Gumma Pref. Federation of Japan Labor-Farmer Party, of National People's Party and of Social People's Party, to become an assemblyman of Maebashi City. After World War II was elected to Diet twice. During this period served in Central Executive Committee of the former Right Wing Socialist Party.
