Shigemi Kirihara graduated from Tokyo University (1919).
Career
Shigemi Kirihara pursued studies of science of labor and became head of Institute for Science of Labor (1951). While conducting re-searches on various problems of industrial psychology and labor psychology, he dealt also with practical problems of industry and is known as leader in these fields. He rendered valuable services by opening up new fields of industrial psychology and putting it to practical use. Works include "Industrial Psychology" and "Labor Management."
