Career
Shigenori Tomioka served with Denki Kagaku Kogyo Kaisha (Elecic Chemical Industry Company) and later as superintendent of Fushimi Factory of Hokkai Denka Kogyo Kaisha (Hokkai Electrification Industry Company). Renamed the above company Azuma Chemical Industry Company, becoming president (1948). Appointed president of Hokuriku Denkai Denro Kogyo Remmei (Hokuriku Electrolysis & Electric Furnace Industry Company) (1949). Held additional post of director of Toyama Prefectural Employers' Association.
