Shigetake Suzuki was born in 1903 in Tokyo, Japan.
He graduated from Tokyo University in 1916.
Shigetake Suzuki became professor at the newly established Tokyo Toritsu (Municipal) Higher School in 1929. Later was professor at First Higher School, Rikkyo University, and Chiba University, was professor at Tokyo Municipal University since 1953. Among his works are "Study of Adjectives and Articles" and "On Parts of Speech and Morphology."
