He is currently a Professor Emeritus of pediatrics and head of the Pediatric Allergy Clinic at the University of Florida. He is also one of the doctors at UF Health Shands Hospital that specialize in Allergy & Immunology. He had his early education at Cheng Kong Boys Junior High and Cheng Kong Boys Senior High, Taipei, Taiwan (1949 – 1953).

(1964 to 2007), He was a Medical Professor, Chief of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, University of Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland, United States of America. He was also same for the Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, United States of America where he has been serving as a Professor Emeritus since 2007 till date. Huang provided service in allergy clinic for various allergic disorders that plague children and adults.
He engaged his knowledge of immunology in researching and exploring the causes of various immunologic and allergic disorders including Type 1 diabetes on children as well as their possible treatments.
He was consulted on Doctor Yang"s research on Peanut allergy and other Food allergy researches. He conducted a research on Allergic rhinitis.
A common chronic condition in children that causes substantial morbidity. Some of his write-ups and co-authored research works are published in the The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology as well as Journal of Asthma.
