Shiming Lin, Chinese biotechnologist. Achievements include first to reveal the surface ultrastructure of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus; research in severe acute respiratory syndrome (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) coronavirus and breakthroughs in nanomechanics; invention of electric antibody sensor. Recipient Outstanding Technology Transferring award, National Science Council Taiwan, 2005. Member of Biosensor Society Taiwan.
