Career
After graduating from Tokyo University, joined the magazine Bungei Shunju when it was under the control of Hirosm (Kan) Kikuchi. After the company was dissolved and the new Bungei Sliunju came into being under the presidency of Mosaku Sasaki (1947)he was appointed its editor. The present success of the magazine is attributed in large measure to his talent.
