Career
He entered Joint-Stock Bank Department of Mitsubishi (1917). Entered the newly established Mitsubishi Bank; toured Europe and America inspecting bank business (1926). After returning served successively as manager of Funaba and Nagoya branches of the bank. Became supervisor (1943), director (1946) and later president of Mitsubishi Electrical Appliance Company.
