Graduated from the Law Department of Tokyo University (1933).
Career
Passed the Diplomatic Examination. Then, assigned to various sections of the Ministry (1940-44). Appointed third secretary of the Japanese Embassy in USSR (1944), and second secretary (1946). Assigned to the Information Department, supervisor of the Study and Training Center (1951), chief of the Third Section of the European and American Bureau (1952) Appointed Consul-General at Los Angeles (1953) and chief of the Sixth Section of the European and American Bureau (1955).
