Education
Shinsho entered priesthood at the age of four. He resided at the Taikyuji Temple in Hoki Province (Tottori Prefecture), the Senkeiji and Annonji temples in Shimotsuke (Tochigi Prefecture) and the Keitokuji Temple at Aizu (Fukushima Prefecture).
Career
At the time, there was a Sessho-seki (A Murdering Rock) in Nasuno, Shimotsuke, which killed all living creatures that approached it with its evil emanation, until Shinsho visited the place and destroyed the rock with a stroke of his cane and by reciting a Buddhist text in verse.
After retirement, he lived in the Jigenji Temple.
