Education
Shinsho studied the Avatamska Sutra under Kenshu Taishi (Hsien-shou) in China of the Tang Dynasty.
Career
Shinsho became the first man to lecture on that sutra in Japan. He lived at the Daianji Temple in Yamato Province (Nara Prefecture).
At the request of Priest Roben, he lectured on the Avatamska Sutra at the Konsho Dojo school (740-742).
