Recipient Silver medal, Salon des Artistes Francis, Paris, 1965, De Cordova Museum Purchase prize, Boston Printmaker Show, 1971, Grand Prix 1st International Miniature Print Biennal award, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Member of Chinese Graphic Society Taipei (Best Printmaker award 1976).

Liao, Shiou-Ping was born on September 2, 1936 in Taipei, Taiwan. Son of Chin-Feu and Wang-Ching Liao.
