Shiro Kohshima, Japanese science educator. Achievements include discovery of cold-tolerant insects living in the glaciers; research in glacier ecosystems; research in sleep behavior of dolphins; research in eye morphology of humans and animals.
Kohshima, Shiro was born on April 14, 1955 in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. Son of Takashi and Yoshiko Kohshima.
