Graduated from Kyoto University (1929).
Career
Shizuo Tawara served as instructor of Kobe Commercal College, then went to Europe and USA for study (1935-1937). On returning, he served as professor of Kobe Keizai (Economics) College.
After the war, when the institution was renamed the Kobe University, he continued to serve as professor. He was concurrently director of Japan Jurisprudence Society.
