Career
Takeya was for some time manager of the Uji-Kadayii Theater at Ise and then of the Isejima-Kunai Theater, Kyoto. He is said to have been associated with the famous samisen player Takemoto and puppeteer Saburobe Yoshida at the Dotombori at Osaka.
