Served as instructor of Honganji Temple member of the Executive Committee of Suiheisha. After the war, he became member of Central Executive Committee of the Socialist Party; elected member of the House of RepTesentatives twice. He was purged together with Jiichiro Matsumoto after the war, but was later depurged.
