At the time of her death, over 1,000,000 copies of her books had been sold. An updated edition of her CISSP practice exam book was published posthumously in 2015. As of May 2015, the Logical Security website was offline, although various advertisements for its products remained online as of November 2015.
Harris was recognized as one of the top 25 women in the information-security field by Information Security magazine.
