He had his first painting "Budo" (grapes) exhibited in 1980 at the 17th Japan Art Exhibition, and has since then won many laurels. Was commissioned by the Ministry of Education (1940) to trace the mural paintings of Horiiji Temple, a work which he continued until 1944. Is instructor at Tama Art College.
