In 1921, after graduating from Tokyo University Shoshiro Kudo became an influential figure in financial circles and was appointed director of Keizai Doyukai (Economic Fraternity). After the end of the World War II, Shoshiro Kudo was appointed vice-manager of Price Board, and then manager of Rehabilitation Financing Bank, and Chief of Price Board (1950).
