Career
He is the ex-choreographer and lead performer of the dance group MJ5.He also Choreographed the Opening Sequence for Bollywood movie ABCD 2. Shraey recently launched his Debut Single as singer NAKHRA WAKHRA with T-series in December, 2015. He says he was also aspiring to crack IIT but while conversing with his father, one day realised that this wasn"t what he wanted to do and started taking dance more seriously.
In high school, he auditioned for a dance show Aaja Nachle on a regional Punjabi channel, where he got selected and reached till the quarter finals.
He has done his graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from Trinity College, GGSIPU. He is a part of Remo Doctorate"Souza"s ABCD and choreographed opening performance for ABCD 2 as well as appearing on Yo Yo Honey Singh"s song Siftaan"s video and choreographing his live show. In 2013, he formed MJ5 a five-membered dance crew who auditioned for the 2013 season of India"s Dancing Superstar, a show broadcast on Star Plus, and reached the finale.
In December 2014, Shraey left MJ5 and started working as an individual artist, later formed Invincible, a new team of professionally trained dancers, with whom he performs at present. He also started his dance company, Dance With Shraey in May, 2015.
Shraey played the role of Ashwini in Indian youth fiction show Pyar Tune Kya Kiya (Season 4, Episode 10).
Shraey released his first debut single, NAKHRA WAKHRA with T-series in December, 2015. Shraey is professionally trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip hop and Bollywood.
