(Problems of the aging, poor health, diseases such as mult...)
Problems of the aging, poor health, diseases such as multiple sclerosis, chronic conditions such as schizophrenia, and trauma related to stress or crisis are among the situations Serok says can be addressed with the approach. He helped found the social work department at Ben-Gurion University and the gestalt program at Tel Aviv University. He describes intervention exercises that can be used by practitioners who may or may not be familiar with gestalt therapeutic techniques.
