Shukichi Takami was a Japanese craftsman (wood). Shukichi Takami won great renown as a craftsman in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, during the Kan-en and Kanreki eras.
It is recorded that he carved a thousand cranes on the sword stand of his clan lord after painstakingly making several trial sketches. He is said to have left Japan after which nothing further was heard of him.
