He graduated from Tokyo University in 1914.
Career
He served as assistant professor of Tohoku University (from 1917), professor of Kanazawa Medical College, director of hospital attached to same college and professor of Tohoku University (from 1944) and thereafter became first president of newly founded Fukushima Prefectural Medical College (1950).
His works include those on secondary contagion of tuberculosis and chemotherapy and action-therapy for cancer.
