Career
In the reign of Emperor Gokameyama, he started making Shunkeinuri lacquerware at Sakai near Osaka. His process consisted in painting plain wood with alum, then dyeing it with gamboge, iron Vermillion and astringent juice and coating it with lacquer and oil.
