He went to China (Ming Dynasty) (1537) and brought back rare books the following year. Lived at the Myochiin in the Tenryuji Temple. Informed Nobunaga Oda of the conditions in China. Lived temporarily at the Eirinji Temple in Kai (Yamanashi Prefecture) at the request of Shingen Takeda.
