Career
He was Chief minister of the Madhya Pradesh from 26 March 1969 to 28 January 1972, 23 December 1975 to 29 April 1977 and 9 December 1989 to 4 March 1990. He is the son of first Chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Pint Ravi Shankar Shukla. Shukla brothers were once a political strongman of Madhya Pradesh.
