Siddharth was born in Mumbai, India to Kiran Shetty and Christine Shetty, and has a sister.
Siddharth studied in Sharada Mandir School till Grade 10, and then shifted to Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School to pursue science in Grade 11 and Grade 12.
Currently he is working for Exotel as Lead Developer Evangelist. In April 2013, aged 17, Siddharth founded Fundlined – a crowdfunding platform which allows customers to raise funds for their idea, project, startup, event or cause. Siddharth took a gap year after his Grade 11, to concentrate on Fundlined.
On 15 May 2014, aged 18, Siddharth Shetty launched Fundlined to the public.
Within months, Fundlined had become one of India"s largest crowdfunding platform. In November 2014, aged 18, Siddharth closed down the Fundlined crowdfunding platform, and on 25 November 2014 relaunched Fundlined as a SaaS Product – allowing people to launch their own Dedicated Crowdfunding Platform or Dedicated Crowdfunding Campaign Page and raise funds from across the globe.
Fundlined has grown to a team of fifteen members, with offices in Goa, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and New Delhi. On 15 August 2014 Siddharth spoke about Fundlined at The Catalyst at Saint Xavier"s College in Mumbai during Malhar 2014, one of the largest inter-collegiate and youth festivals in India.
On 9 August 2014 Siddharth spoke about Fundlined and Crowdfunding at Startup Saturday in Goa.
On 31 February 2015 Siddharth interacted with the students of IIT Bombay, and spoke about Fundlined.
