Served with Army of the United States, Korea, 1945-1947. Fellow Engineering Society Detroit, Society Automotive Engineers (Russell Springer award 1957, College Fellows 1985); member Tau Beta Pi (Outstanding New Member award 1948), Pi Tau Sigma (Outstanding New Member award 1949).
