One reviewer wrote: This book starts with the beginning of World War II. It gives you the same feeling as when you read Winds of War. It is excitement from the start. The detailed descriptions of Lisbon, of the inner workings of the Lisbon police department and of the flying clipper are exquisite. This book takes you from each suspenseful moment to the completely unexpected. For a pilot, the flight scenes bring back fond memories. The Author obviously has researched his subject in great detail. As I approached the end of the book, I simply couldn't put it down. I knew how I wanted it to end, but I had no idea how Sid Davis would take us there. Definitely, a book for Hollywood!
