Career
He is best known for his fantastic theories of the past of the Finnish people. Some consider him a late practitioner of Gothicismus. Wettenhovi-Aspa studied art in Copenhagen in the klg.
Akademiet for de Skønne Kunster and the Kröyer Academy 1888-1891.
He also organized several art shows known as the Free Exhibitions.
