Career
He participated in the Naval battle off Saint John (1691), the Naval battle off Saint John (1696) and the Siege of Pemaquid (1696). He governed Acadia after the death of the governor Jacques-François de Monbeton de Brouillan (September 1705) until the appointment of the new governor, Daniel d"Auger de Subercase on 22 May 1706.
