Career
Simon Grix"s position of choice is second row, although he can feature in a range of other positions. He was mooted for a call-up to the Ireland squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup and was named in the Ireland training squad but did not make the final side. He eventually made his Ireland debut in 2010, and was named in their squad for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
