Aged 5 his family moved to Berkshire. Undertaking a series of supporting roles, he took a two-year degree course at RADA, followed by theatre work. After taking parts in various television series, including Casualty, he played Doctor Ameer Mowad in the two series of the British Broadcasting Corporation Wales production, Crash.
He is best known for playing Doctor Kevin Tyler since 2011 in the British Broadcasting Corporation daytime soap Doctors.
He departed the show on 30 October 2014.
