Simona Armstrong

Career

Between 2004 and 2007, she made a few television acting appearances in the United Kingdom, notably in Doctors, Sinchronicity and A Touch Of Frost. On stage Armstrong has appeared in Fame and Little Shop Of Horrors. In 2006, she participated in the BBC1 reality television series How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?.

Armstrong reached the audience voting stages, but was not selected as one of the two finalists.

Achievements

• The winner would play the lead role in a revival of The Sound Of Music being staged by Andrew Lloyd Webber at the London Palladium. Although she failed in her bid to win the competition, she returned to television contests in 2008, presenting the song "Changes", in the 2008 show Eurovision: Your Decision, hoping to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest.
