Dame Simone Ruth Prendergast, Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Justice of the Peace, Doctor of Laws was created a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire for her political and public service.

She was the Head and later a Patron of the United Kingdom
The Simone Prendergast Charitable was established in her honour. Prendergast was born 2 July 1930 in London to Norman and Elaine (Marks) Laski. One sister, Ann Esther Laski, married David R. Susman.
Dame Simone died at the age of 82 on 11 August 2012.
Politics
She was a member of the United Kingdom" General’ s Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions" Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal which reviews cases of malfeasance and/or misconduct against British solicitors.
