Membership

Served as assistant inspector general transportation all theatres of war, with rank lieutenant colonel, 1916, admiralty anti-submarine campaign, 1917. Member of advisory panel appointed by prime minister in connection with re-armament program, 1938. Fellow Royal Society Arts, Institute Motor Industry, Institution Rubber Industry (president 1933-1936).

Member Church of England.
