Career
From 2006 until his appointment as Defense Minister on 30 October 2008, Siraj was Minister of Federal Affairs. He has graduated his first degree in Forestry at Haremaya University in 1995, He also has two Masters degrees. Master of Arts from Azusa Pacific University in Leadership in United States of America And He also has Mediterranean Shipping Company in Security Sector Management from Cranfield University in London(United Kingdom).
He is the first minister in the entire history of the Silte people.
He is also the first Defense Minister in the entire history of SNNPRS.
