Career
He has spent over 25 years in the broadcast radio industry. On air, he has shared the same mic as well known personalities Ryan Seacrest, Danny Bonaduce, Delilah, Matt Siegel, and Dale Dorman. He has also produced live music from Dave Matthews, Coldplay, Dido and Sarah McLachlan.
Skip has appeared in Billboard Magazine and Teen People Magazine.
His voice has been heard in campaigns for brands and products like Volkswagen, Rain-X, Nabisco, Budweiser, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, Disney, and Volvo. In 2001 Kelly hosted "The Movie Loft" for the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional network, one of the first "hosted movie" franchises on television long before it became a staple on cable.
He has also been a contributor to both Music Television and Entertainment Tonight providing interview footage with stars like Ricky Martin, Nelly Furtado, Lionel Richie and others Currently based out of Jacksonville, Florida, in May 2013, Kelly took over WWJK-FM, 107.3 JACK fm as Program Director for iHeartMedia.
On January 25, 2016 the newly announced Alternative music station Project 106.9 signed on and Skip Kelly added Program Director duties there as well.
He is also the Assistant Program Director at Top-40 97.9 KISS fm. Kelly had last been with iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel) Jacksonville in 2006, serving as Program Director for WFKS-FM, 97.9 KISS fm. In the past, he has worked for stations such as KIIS-FM Los Angeles, KYSR Los Angeles, WXKS-FM Boston, WPXY-FM, Rochester and more.
