He played for clubs such OFK Beograd, Spartak Moscow, PFC Slavia Sofia and PFC CSKA Sofia in the Bulgarian A PFG. He finished his coaching license Union of European Football Associations Profi. Since October 2015, Slavko Matic coach Football Club Koper from Koper (First league Slovenia).
