1900 opera debut in Odessa. 1901-1902 in Kiev; 1903-1904 in Khar’kov. 1906-1907 with Maksakov in Moscow.
1907-1908 at the Bolshoy Theater. Performed with Chaliapin, Sobinov and Figner. 1910-1911 performed in Paris and Palermo.
1910-1917 soloist, Zimin Opera Theater. Performed with Battistini and Galvani during their tour of Russia. 1917-1924 soloist, Theater of Moscow Soviet of Workers’ Deputy.
1920-1928 instructor. State Institute of Stagecraft, Moscow. 1924 left the stage; 1930-1945 professor, Moscow Conservatory.
Trained such prominent singers as: Kh. Nasyrova, A. Kuznetsova, K. Mal’kova, North. Rozhdestvenskaya and O. Lcont'- yeva. Roles: Masha in Dubrovskiy, Natasha in Iiusalka (The Water Nymph).
