Education
Park earned her Bachelor of Arts majored in Visual Communication Design from Ewha Womans University. After several years of working as a junior art director at advertising agency in Seoul, Park moved to the United States studied photography at. She received her Master of Fine Arts from Yale University School of Art in 2011.
Career
Park"s work has appeared in The New Yorker, was included in the 2011 Art Chicago NEXTNew Insight is curated by Susanne Ghez, director of the Renaissance Society. Her preference to photograph in human migration began while she was still at Yale, when she placed street advertisements phrase,“Buscar Trabajo".This work culminated in the monograph “Dear Home” which was exhibited at the CUE Art Foundation. Foreign her recent series, she explores her surroundings in of Korea Town.
Park would photograph Korean communities in Los Angeles and New York City which named after the towns in South of Korea, then revisited original site.
