Soichiro Suzuki was born in 1899 in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.
He graduated from Nagoya Municipal Commercial School in 1918.
He engaged in lumber business. He became president of Aichi Chemical Industry Company since 1936 and Dai-Nippon Mokuzai Bofu Kaisha (Great Japan Lumber Antisepsis Company) since 1927. He began engaging in stock raising in 1939.
He also served as councilor of Dai-Nippon Sanrinkai (Great Japan Forestry Society) and member of Shiho Hogo Iinkai (Ex-Prisoners' Aid Committee). He held additional post of director of Zaiso Lumber Company.
