Soko was a Japanese Buddhist priest of the Rinzai Sect and founder of the Daimyoji Temple. He was known also as Getsuan.
Education
Soko studied under Ho-o and other distinguished Zen priests.
Career
When Soko traveled in Kurokawa, Tajima Province (Hyogo Prefecture), he was so impressed by its quiet surroundings that he built there the Daimyoji Temple. He also founded the Entsuji, Daidoji, Zenshoji and other temples.
